About The Show:

"Join us for a day of Shakespearean fun for the whole family!  We will start off with our Student Shakespeare Showcase, where talented young performers from Warwick Center for the Performing Arts will present Juliet's Garden, a short play that reimagines Shakespeare's leading ladies.  Kids 5-12 are welcome to participate in an acting workshop and make their Shakespeare stage debut!  All workshop participants will learn about acting these classic plays, and will be a part of our world of fairies for A Midsummer Night's Dream!

Greenwood Lake Theater's Spontaneous Shakespeare Players will present a 90-minute, family-friendly version of A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Enjoy fairy mischief, lovers in chaos, and a ragtag group of players putting on a show for Duke Theseus.  Dedicated to bringing the Shakespeare of olden times to modern audiences, GWLT uses original Elizabethan performance techniques.  Watch our professional actors perform the First Folio Style, with cue scripts in hand, bringing Shakespeare's words to life in a thrilling and often hilarious way. This is seriously entertaining Shakespeare, the like of which you have never seen before!"
